Hudson Bay Mountain is home to Ski & Ride Smithers, an existing regional destination ski resort. The mountain is big in every dimension and with initiatives put in place to develop over 4,000 vertical feet of snow covered trails and a new ski lift, it has the potential to be among the largest in North America.

There is heli-skiing just 25 minutes from this site in the winter and spring, while a short hike from any lot in this development offers breathtaking views of sub-alpine prairie, an alpine lake and dramatic mountain peaks during the summer and fall.
The Town of Smithers is located at the base of the mountain with one of the most charming main streets of any mountain town. There are shops, restaurants, hotels and a full host of community support services that include healthcare and education.
